Month of Poetry #10: Love

love

not in glamour
not in glory
just because
you know my story

and stay, anyway.

not with fireworks
on no mountain
but comfort, here
a constant fountain

rest and gentleness.

years of winding
threads together
though caution stops me
saying forever…

I do think so.
